TSEA Sets Schedule for Red Diamond Series

The Red Diamond of TSEA
The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) just let us in on the schedule for the first in a series Red Diamond Educational Seminars. The topic for this one-day workshop is Event Measurement Strategies and Techniques for Tradeshow and Event Managers, plus, as a bonus topic, How to Restructure Event Strategies in Uncertain Economic Times. The first seminar will be presented at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL on May 27, 2009 and in Atlanta, GA, June 9, 2009.
TSEA’s “Event Measurement Strategies and Techniques for Trade Show and Event Managers” is a day-long “How To” seminar taught by Ed Jones, President of Constellation Communication Corp., the acknowledged expert in trade show measurement and improvement.
We understand that tradeshow and event managers who participate in this day long seminar will enhance their ability to:
- Develop insight into your organization’s specific business improvement initiatives
- Align your show and event program with your organization’s business improvement initiatives
- Establish business improvement goals, tactical objectives and measurement criteria to quantify the value of a show or event
- Understand, identify and report the four sources of profit improvement from trade shows and events.
- Communicate more effectively about the accomplishments of your event marketing program
- Be more influential at all levels of their company, or chain of command
- Learn how to communicate in a manner that executives understand and value
- Guide your internal customers and extended events team to more informed decisions and quantifiably improved results
“We are very proud of the quality this speaker brings to our educational programs along with a curriculum that will benefit our members immediately. There is already a high level of interest among members and non-members alike,” said Margit B. Weisgal, CME, president and CEO of TSEA. “This day will do more to boost your career than any program you will ever attend. We look forward announcing the schedule for other cities around the country.”

Wow… this is exciting… I never thought I’d see the day… but… hey, here we are.
It’s about DAMN TIME! Best way to keep tabs on the industry short of networking at EXHIBITOR SHOW.
I like this! Sign me up.
Why are we so passionate about trade shows? Does anyone have a definitive answer? I’d love to know.

Thanks Jeff. It’s great to have a designation that really explains what we are – fans, believers, supporters, boosters, and enthusiasts of our industry. It’s easy to explain to clients, friends, colleagues, and instantly understood ;^)
Bob… there is no other Bob Thomas like you… you are truly a one-off. Your contributions to the business are vast and broad… and you appreciated for all you’ve done.
Congratulations Jeff! Your search is over. I know you have been looking for someone with nuanced intellect, quick wit, sex appeal and star power for the Blues Wall…and you’ve found that and more in my dear friend Art Veale. They don”t come any better than Art. It’s been said that “it’s always darkest right before it’s pitch black”. Well, if that is the case….here’s the light at the end of our tunnel. I’m signing up.

Question: Are we having fun yet?
Congrats, Ben. It's been a while since we did the AYFS gig but as usual, you pulled it together and made it happen. You certainly deserve the top honors… Bus
You had me at "Back to School."
Can't wait to add TSE to my resume….no explanation of course! I 'll get calls just to know what it is!
Thanks, Bernadette… I assume you meant CTE… Certified Tradeshow Enthusiast… We'll look forward to it…
I like your program, but complicated for old guys like me to communicate
keep up the good work.
Way to go – love when the efforts pay off
Thanks… we love it, too
